Former President Donald Trump has officially been arrested in the Fulton County Jail in Georgia on August 24, 2023. His mugshot has been recently trending and seen across all news platforms, but what did Trump exactly do, and why is his arrest important? Well, after Trump’s loss in the 2020 presidential race, Trump made the claim and provided misinformation, saying how the election was deceptive. 18 other individuals that comprise of Trump’s legal team were also taken in. It is important to note how Trump turned himself in but was later released on a $200,000 bond. However, despite all of this, Trump is still leading for the Republican primary seat.
