George Santos, the former Republican representative for New York’s third congressional district, was recently expelled from his seat in Congress. This marks the first expulsion in over twenty years, the most recent having been James Traficant back in 2002 for racketeering, bribery, and tax evasion. George Santos, however, got ejected from Congress by a vote of 311 to 114 after being involved with fraud and wrongfully using campaign funds by the House Ethics Committee on his luxuries: gambling, shopping, Botox, and even OnlyFans. 105 out of 217 Republicans and 206 out of 208 Democrats ultimately ended up voting yes for Santos’s removal.
